EXCITEMENT IN THE AIR AS EMIRATES AND BANGKOK AIRWAYS CODESHARE ON 19 SOUTHEAST ASIA ROUTES
Emirates, a global connector of people and places, has announced a new codeshare agreement with Thailand-based boutique airline Bangkok Airways. The exciting partnership is set to open up new destinations for Bangkok Airways and Emirates passengers from Europe, Australasia and South-East Asia regions.
The new agreement will see Emirates’ code added to 19 Bangkok Airways routes across a number of Southeast Asian cities, adding a total of 14 new destinations to the Emirates global network.
Our aim is to seamlessly connect customers to new tourist desti-nations such as Koh Samui and Chiang Mai in Thailand, Siem Reap in Cambodia, plus Yangon and Mandalay in Myanmar. Passengers travelling to Bangkok Suvranabhumi, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore can also take advantage of Bangkok Airways codeshare routes. Furthermore, stopover options will be open in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Phuket for Emirates passengers travelling to and from Koh Samui.
Thai residents living throughout the Kingdom, in places such as Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Krabi, Trat, and Sukhothai, now have unparalleled access to Emirates’ worldwide network of destinations, which ensures them of smooth travel and total convenience when travelling from their home towns to key cities in Asia and across the globe.
Emirates have opened doors to both European gateways, and increase connectivity from Australia and New Zealand. Providing passengers with more choice brings flexibility to connect across Southeast Asia to and from Dubai, ultimately offering a smoother, more convenient travel experience.
Together with Bangkok Airways, Emirates are taking more people to more places and opening up new opportunities to global passengers to experience a region blessed with some of the most stunning tourist and World Heritage sites, direct from their local airport.
