Eleanor Bolton’s collection for 2015 introduces vibrant fluorescent splashes of colour to her unique and innovative lines of hand stitched coiled rope jewellery. Complimenting her traditional subtle tones of grey and navy, the new range is inspired by the graphic and colourful patterns of the Memphis group, an Italian design group who created Postmodern fabrics and furniture in the 80’s.
The 2015 collection features materials including high quality acrylics, cotton braids and 100% cotton yarns with plated brass tubes, combining both stitched and yarn wrapped detailing with rose gold, yellow gold and silver plated accents and magnetic clasps on some of the necklaces. Worn by themselves or layered, the new range fits perfectly within the ever growing sports luxe trend and is an easy addition to a white tee or as a statement piece in the evening.

These tribal necklaces believe to be originated from different tribes or villages around the pacific island. These ornaments were objects with high prestige value in traditional societies. Not only worn on for daily use or ceremonial occasions but they were also used as a type of traditional currencies.
